Privacy Policy

Short version: PopImagine is local-first. There are no accounts, no ads, and no analytics. Your creations live on the device you made them on. The only thing that leaves your device is the short text prompt used to help dream up your world.
Who this is from
This app is maintained by PopDrop LLC to answer common privacy questions about PopImagine. You can reach us at hello@popdrophq.com. This page describes current practices — it is not an independent certification or audit.
What we collect
- Nothing personal. We don't ask for a name, email, birthday, location, or any account details. There is no sign-in.
- No analytics. We don't run Google Analytics, pixels, cookies for tracking, or similar tools.
- No advertising. There are no ads and no ad networks.
What stays on your device
The worlds you create — names, stories, items, prices, characters, colors, and saved play — are stored in your browser's local storage on the device you used to make them. They aren't uploaded to us. Clearing your browser data, or using a different device or browser, will remove or hide them.
The one thing that leaves your device
When you tap "Dream it up", we send the short text prompt (for example: "spooky bakery for ghosts") to an AI model provider (Anthropic) through the Lovable AI Gateway so it can write details back for your world. We do not attach your name, email, or a persistent identifier to that request. The prompt itself is the only user-provided content sent.
Kids & families
PopImagine is made for kids to play with alongside grown-ups. Because we don't collect personal information, create accounts, or profile users, the app does not knowingly gather personal data from children. Actions that could change or delete a creation are gated behind a small "grown-up check" screen.
Installing as an app (PWA)
You can install PopImagine to your home screen. That doesn't change what data we collect — it just makes storage on your device a little more durable so creations stick around longer.
Your choices
- Delete a creation from the home screen at any time.
- Clear all creations by clearing site data / local storage in your browser.
- Uninstall the app from your home screen to remove it fully (on most devices this also clears its storage).
Changes to this policy
If we change how PopImagine handles data, we'll update this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will also be flagged in the app.
